Royal Mail

With the growth of sales via the internet, online retailers require efficient product fulfilment services. Royal Mail’s Special Delivery is a key service for many online retailers. Royal Mail wanted to target businesses that sell online and to know which courier they currently used.

NetExtract helped Royal Mail build a list of prospects by identifying businesses that sell online. From profiling 1.5 million UK web sites NetExtract identified 30,000 web sites that had shopping cart facilities and sold online. The Key Word and Phrase Extractor was used to crawl the web sites and identify which couriers they currently used for fulfilment.

Royal Mail used this information to build a tailored marketing campaign to the online retailers promoting their Special Delivery service.
